This is a terrific-value wine if you're a fan of the rich, dense modern style of the Barossa shiraz. Inky blackpurple in the glass, it oozes squashy blackcurrants and mulberry jam, and is a solid chunk of flavour in the mouth. Not terribly subtle, but provides plenty of bang for your buck - Max Allen.
